Mountain Sky Retrievers - Training Grounds
Yes there is a place in Northern Colorado to train your retrievers for hunting, hunt tests, field trials, and more. The place is Mountain Sky Ranch located conveniently in the foothills west of Longmont, Loveland, and Berthoud, CO.
We cater to amateur training groups and individuals who are looking for a place with appropriate land and water for training.
You can schedule training here for a hour, a day, or a year. We have training tools for those who need them and even live and dead birds with requests in advance.
We are competitive retriever trainers ourselves and avid hunters, also. We know what good grounds should have and not have and we think we have what any trainer will need.

We do charge a small fee to use our site daily. This fee helps us pay for site maintenance and other overhead costs. We also have a very affordable annual training pass you can purchase.
We have numerous ponds, a stream, and every kind of land look you can imagine. You can do quads with 400+ yard marks, or you can do cheaty water entries with options of going over or around points. It is all here, and less than an hour from DIA or downtown Denver.
